What is Fruit tea?

Fruit tea, also known as fruit blends, Infusions or tisanes are a caffeine-free alternative to traditional tea.  Fruit tea is a made from a blend of dried fruits, but some blends also contain herbs, spices or flower blossoms. These beverages can be served hot or cold.  Hot fruity infusions are great to help you warm up on a chilly evening, cold brews are perfect to serve in the hotter months.

How does Fruit tea taste?

The taste depends on the type of fruit infusion but generally they are sweet, fruity, and refreshing.

What are different types of Fruit tea?

There are numerous different varieties of fruit tea, from berry blends, apple infusions, to citrus blends and everything in between.

Some of our popular fruit teas are Red Berry, Blood Orange, Fruity Lemon, Pina Colada and Tangerine Sorbet.

Our Red Berry contains Hibiscus, apple pieces, rosehip, orange peel, natural red berry flavouring, and raspberry pieces. It Is deliciously fruity, sweet and tangy.

Blood Orange is juicy, tangy and refreshing. It contains apple pieces, hibiscus blossoms, rose hip peel, safflower, and natural flavouring.

Our delicious Fruity Lemon contains apple pieces, hibiscus blossoms, rose hip peel, natural lemon flavouring with other natural flavouring, lemon peel, and lemongrass.

Pina Colada has flavours of sweet, juicy pineapple and creamy coconut. It contains apple pieces, roasted coconut flakes, coconut flakes, natural flavouring, and freeze-dried pineapple flakes.

Tangerine Sorbet is juicy and fruity with delicious flavours of tangerine and orange. The blend contains apple pieces, orange slices, natural flavouring, freeze-dried tangerine-orange fruit pieces, marigold blossoms, and wild strawberry leaves.

Can you serve Fruit tea cold?

Yes, fruit tea can be served cold and over ice in the summer months. Fruit teas make refreshing, tasty Iced infusions, and are an enjoyable alternative to fizzy drinks. It is also fun to add them to cocktails or mocktails or freeze them in Iced Lolly moulds. Fruit tea can be mixed with black, green or white tea to make your own interesting blends.

How do you brew fruit tea?

To make Fruit tea, use one teaspoon per cup, Infuse in water just off the boil for a period of 3-5 minutes. If you prefer a stronger flavour, just leave it to steep a little longer.

Is there caffeine in fruit tea?

There is no caffeine in fruit tea making these beverages ideal to enjoy any time of the day.

Can I sweeten fruit tea?

If you want to further sweeten your fruit tea, you could try adding natural honey, or maple syrup. Fresh fruit such as berries or citrus segments make a lovely addition to cold brews.
